The Agency

First City Nursing Services Ltd supply temporary and permanent Nurses, Care Assistants and Support Workers to Nursing Homes, Residential Homes, Learning Disability Placements, Hospitals and Individuals within their own Homes. We currently have offices in Swindon, Cheltenham, Chippenham and Salisbury, and will continue to grow and offer solutions personalised to the individual needs of our Clients.

Inhouse training

We provide excellent training support.  83% of First City Carers are NVQ2 qualified, and 35% of those hold an NVQ Level 3 or above.  Our inhouse training team provides NVQ training and short courses in the safe handling of medication, protection of vulnerable adults, manual handling and much more.

High performance

We have a stringent recruitment policy.  All references are checked and applicants must provide proof of identity and undergo an enhanced CRB check.  We have a comprehensive three day induction programme and all new recruits must meet our performance standards during their three months trial period.
