Extra Care

Our Extra Care service is available in supported/sheltered housing. We can provide additional healthcare support to enable patients to stay in their current housing without having to move into a nursing home. The Extra Care service is available to older people, people with physical and mental disabilities and those who need extra support because of substance abuse or learning difficulties.

It is available through your local council, not directly from First City, but we can provide all the help and advice you need to access it. Just call or email us for more information.

‘My Father in Law lived on his own until he moved into Maple Court. Since being in Maple Court we have seen a great improvement , he is more independent, and has a social life within the Extra Care Scheme. We are very happy with the excellent care and support that our Father in Law receives and if it was not for First City Extra Care my Father in Law would not be at the improved stage he is now’
