Weekend Community Healthcare Assistant - Swindon

£12.96 - £13.56 per hour Pension, Full Training, Mileage
 

Job Description

First City are looking for committed staff to embrace our company ethos and values and provide excellent standards of care to our clients and who are looking for evening and/or weekend work. 

This role will involve supporting people in the local community to live independently at home. The successful candidate will support customers with their day to day routine; Assisting with personal care, Administering medication, Preparing meals, Light domestic tasks, Carer relief and support out in the community. There will also be other individual requirements outlined in each person-centred support plan.

Location: Swindon 

Hours Available: Full-Time, Part-Time, Bank

Mornings – 6/7am – 11am

Lunch – 11am – 2:30pm

Tea Time – 2:30pm – 6pm

Evening – 6pm – 11pm

Monday - Sundays

Rate Starting at £12.96ph + 35p Mileage

If you have experience as a Care Assistant/ Support Worker we would love to hear from you.

    • Helping with mobility
    • Administering medication
    • Preparing meals, Shopping Calls and Light domestic tasks
    • Liaising with other healthcare professionals
    • Develop appropriate working relationships with families and young people
    • Offer strategies for development of social skills
    • To act as a role model at all times
    • Thinking outside the box for activities planning ahead of the visits
    • Be able to write clear daily reports, incident reports and accident reports
