The Workforce of the Future

First City are passionate about supporting the workforce of the future. Students of today are vital to the future of healthcare, aspiring carers, nurses and doctors. We are proud to share our experiences and knowledge of the industry with schools, colleges and universities in the community.

Our recruitment team visit many establishments to discuss different career paths within the industry. Whether students wish to follow an academic route of university, the path of apprenticeship or to head straight into employment after education, our team are on hand for advice! At First City we have colleagues who join us to fulfil a lifelong dream of becoming a care worker and make a difference to others; as well as colleagues who are studying to become nurses or doctors and also individuals who had never considered healthcare as a career choice but stumbled into the industry and found they belong!

Not only do we want to inspire students to pursue a career in healthcare, we also support with other important skillsets required for future employment. Most recently, on Friday 27th January our HR and Recruitment Admin, Charlotte visited UTC school to support with mock interviews for year 10 and 11.
