All of the carers are amazing, I haven't had a bad one yet. They are all so professional and make my mum laugh.

The company is very busy, but there is always someone there at the end of the phone, to help and advise you and to try and answer any query you might have. I feel I have support from a team behind me.

The carers are brilliant, really wonderful and I want to set up dad receiving care and support with you permanently, we are discussing this with Adult Social Care.  I truly think the service First City provide is wonderful and the carers are absolutely lovely.

The carers have all been very nice and very kind to dad, he really likes them and is engaging with them and accepting the care.  The carers have also provided myself and my son with hints and tips on how to manage the behavioural changes which I have really appreciated, and it has been very helpful.

Having the care and support has been a huge relief for both me and my son and it has taken the stress away.

Whilst all your carers have been fantastic, he has stood out for many reasons. His gentle, kind and caring nature has reassured mum so many times in adapting to, and accepting her loss of independence. He has encourgaed and praised mum when she has doubted her ability. He has comforted and listened to her when she has been at a low ebb. He has made her laugh with his sense of humour, and been interested in all she shares with him about her life before her fall. Your colleague has all these personal skills, whilst also carrying out the care tasts for mum to the highest standard. He is genuinely the kindest, caring and most conscientious young man I have ever encountered and has helped mum to navigate her new life positively. 

I had a lovely young lady in your team support me the other day, I think she is a credit to the team!

There has been such a difference in my loved one since you started 1 to 1 support. She is a different person. The carer who was with her today was absolutely amazing, they were laughing and joking together.

I visited Paula and her family today, they were so happy with the standard of care she is receiving. The carers arrived for her lunch call when I was there, the gentleman came in and was really happy and chatting away to Paula. Paula said he normally sings to her, so he started singing, she was singing along, waving her arms. It was really lovely to see.

Daughter-in-law of Mrs Y called tonight to pass on how wonderful you are, she said you are very kind and she felt that you gave Mrs Y your full attention and went above and beyond to make sure that Mrs Y was cared for.

Mrs X said that we are all so helpful on the phone & that her & her husband ‘loves’ seeing all the carers that we have sent. They have all been most pleasant and lovely and that they both look forward to seeing our joyful support staff each visit.

It’s very sad to be saying goodbye to the wonderful carers I have had the privilege of welcoming into my home and my life. They will all be missed very much!

I just wanted to write to you today in regard to the hospital discharge. There were a number of issues upon my visit to the lady in question, but I was hoping that you could pass on my gratitude for the assistance from X and Y in arranging an overnight visit for the lady at very short notice and so quickly. The lady and I are very thankful, and she felt reassured that she would be able to stay at home safely.

I have been working for first city for over 10 years and have never regretted it.

The clients are at the forefront of the 365 days of the year. Then running very close behind are their staff who are just as important, and first city make this very clear from the start. They have always supported me, in my own very difficult family situation, they have shown compassion and support throughout my time with them and look forward to the next 10 years!

I love my role and providing the care and support I get up for each and every day, it makes my day worthwhile, making a positive difference to somebody's life is what caring is all about!

Nan can be stubborn and has always been a proud lady and would never let someone else wash her hair, however Jo has managed to do this, and support with personal care. Jo goes above and beyond, Nan is always excited when she knows Jo is coming and this really reassures me.

Jo really puts in maximum effort and is a brilliant carer. When I visit, all she talks about is the lady with the red hair.

Jo is amazing.
