1. What excites you about working in healthcare?

'We get to make a real positive impact on someone's life and work with them to meet their goals and regain their independence. As a support planner, I get to meet so many individuals and hear some amazing life stories from people from all walks of life.'

2. Tell us about your fondest memory when working with First City

'I have many fond memories, building strong relationships with our team in Swindon and getting to witness first-hand the positive impact I have made on someone's life, by working with them to build a support plan that improves their quality of life, and assists them with regaining independence they may have lost.'

3. What advice would you give to someone new to care work?

'My advice would be that even if you are having a bad day, think about the positive impact you are having on someone else's day. Just a smile to one of our customers can go a long way!

4. Thinking about working for First City, how would you describe the company?

Our Swindon branch work so closely with our Island branch, and the level of support I receive from my line manager Louise, who is based in Swindon is amazing. I am often contacting her multiple times every day via teams, and she is always available to support me when I need her to. We have all become one huge team, and it's great to feel so supported.
