No – experience isn’t required for all roles. You will receive a thorough induction programme to ensure you know everything about us and the high standards of work we deliver. You will also shadow more established team members, so you can get some hands-on experience and ask questions as you go. However, some of our roles do require experience.
While a driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential for some of our roles, we also have positions suitable for non-drivers.

Yes – at First City we offer entry level apprenticeships in various departments such as: finance, brokerage, recruitment and frontline care.
This will vary on each applicant due to all our offers being subject to satisfactory references, an enhanced DBS check and completion of our 4-day induction to a satisfactory level.
No – we provide care predominantly within peoples own homes. However, we have placements within a few care home settings.
Our payslips are password protected which you can open with your National Insurance number.
