1. What excites you about working in healthcare?

The fact that additional training is provided for personal development. Also, that this has been my dream job since I was young, I have been caring for my elderly Grandmother. I also know that this is an opportunity to progress into an advanced healthcare career.

2. Tell us about your fondest memory when working with First City

I have many fond moments at First City, my favourable one is my effort recognition and appearing on the company's website and outdoor billboards. There have been many positive feedbacks from clients and I get good reports from administration.

3. What advice would you give to someone new to care?

To be tolerant, understanding and a self-starter. To keep calm when under pressure and be vigilant and follow rules, guidelines and regulations as required. To be open to new challenges and willing to learn new things.

4. Thinking about working for First City, how would you describe the company?

It's one of the largest care providing companies in Swindon. It's a family friendly company which considers one's personal family circumstances and takes them into account. They are focussed on personal development and encourage us all to be the best that we can. I can see the company growing from strength to strength in the future.

5. Do you have any other comments about working in healthcare, for First City, or more stories to share?

They are supportive in terms of training, self-development and individual recognition. They take into account client's feedback and comments. They listen to my views and suggestions and take them into account. They are good and fast in solving problems or raising issues where necessary.
