1. What excites you about working in healthcare?

It means so much to me to know that I make a difference to someone's day. It excites me to get to know them and find out their own life's journey.

2. How did you find the induction training with First City?

Induction was really good fun and gave me all the tools and skills to fulfill my role. Spencer and Tracy made it interesting, and my favourite part was using the equipment like stand aids and hoists.

3. How has your introduction to the role been?

Shadowing was good because it clearly gives you a true picture of what is expected of you. The use of the communication book is also good, so we always know what is happening in real time.

4. Thinking about the start of your journey working for First City, how would you describe the company?

The training sets you up for a good beginning and the other training courses available will also help build confidence and skills. Communication to the office for advice if needed or help is also good.

5. Do you have any other comments you would like to share?

I feel proud of the work I do and seeing the clients smile and chatting with them is always a nice feeling.
