    Your Responsibilities

    As a Team Leader, you’ll support both customers and colleagues, ensuring care standards are met across the service. Your role will include; Leading and mentoring care staff across the business, Providing office cover and assisting with customer support planning when required, Maintain accurate records and help implement individual care plans, Supporting individuals to live independently in their own homes, Participating in the out-of-hours service on a rota basis and Delivering hands-on care including personal support, mobility assistance, and medication administration.

    • A minimum of 1 year’s care experience, ideally within a community based setting  (in a senior capacity would be beneficial)

Location: Isle of Wight 

Rate: £13.63ph + 35p milage

Available hours: Full time with Alternate weekends (or one day each weekend), a mix of 7:00 AM – 15:00 PM or 15:00 PM – 23:00 PM shifts

As a Domiciliary Care Assistant, you'll play a vital role in helping individuals live independently and with dignity in their own homes. Your responsibilities will include; providing personal care with sensitivity, assisting with medication, preparing meals, supporting with light housekeeping, and ensuring a safe, clean environment. You’ll also offer companionship, encourage engagement in daily routines and activities, and report any health concerns or changes to senior staff.

To Qualify, You Must:

Hold a minimum NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care (And Above or equivalent qualification)

Have at least 1 year’s experience in a care assistant role

Be a driver with a Full UK License & access to your own vehicle

Be available for a minimum of 40 hours per week, including: Alternate weekends

Available for a mix of  7:00 AM – 15:00 PM or 15:00 PM – 23:00 PM shifts

Domiciliary Care Assistant Swindon

Up to £13.04 per hour Full Training, Mileage, Pension

Working in the community as a care assistant means you will need to be quick thinking, kind hearted and put the people we support first promoting their independence with a person centred approach.

Rate: £13.04 35p Mileage

PLEASE NOTE: The rate advertised is for those who hold an NVQ 2 or above in Health and Social Care.

We are a friendly, local, family run homecare provider which recognises that its employees are its greatest asset.

This role will involve:

  • Supporting people in the local community to live independently at home.
  • Support customers with their day to day routine;
  • Assisting with personal care such as showering, bathing, continence care
  • Helping with mobility
  • Administering medication,
  • Preparing meals
  • Light domestic tasks
  • Individual requirements outlined in each person-centred support plan.
