We're currently recruiting for Support Workers to join our friendly and growing Supported Living team. Whether you're looking for the stability of a contracted role or the flexibility of bank shifts, we have opportunities to suit you.
About the role:


As a Support Worker, you'll be working with adults with a range of needs-this may include learning disabilities, autism, mental health challenges, or physical disabilities. Your role will be to support individuals to live full and meaningful lives in their own homes and local communities.


You'll be delivering person-centred support, helping each person to achieve their own outcomes and live life on their terms.

This could include:
* Helping with day-to-day tasks like cooking, cleaning, budgeting, and personal care
* Supporting people to take part in activities they enjoy-whether that's swimming, shopping, arts & crafts, music, attending groups, or going out for a coffee
* Encouraging independence and building confidence
* Supporting people to maintain relationships with family and friends
* Helping with appointments, medication.
* Promoting wellbeing and safety at all times


For some of our roles, we require at least 6 months' experience in a similar setting, though not all positions have this requirement. What's most important to us is that you have the right values, a caring attitude, and a willingness to learn. For those with less experience, we offer full training and ongoing support to help you succeed in the role.

12 hour days and nights shifts
4-6 hour shifts

Evening & Weekends Domiciliary Care Assistant Swindon

PLEASE NOTE: The rate advertised is for those who hold an NVQ 2 or above in Health and Social Care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting people in the local community to live independently at home.
  • Assisting with personal care, including showering, bathing, and continence care.
  • Helping with mobility and administering medication.

  • Providing care based on individual needs outlined in person-centred support plans.

What We're Looking For:

  • Full driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential.
  • Evening and weekend availability required.
  • Experience as a Care Assistant or Support Worker is welcome but not required-full training is provided.

Hours Available:

  • Evening Shifts: 2:30pm - 11pm
  • Evening Shifts: 6pm - 11pm
  • Weekend Shifts: 7am - 2:30pm and/or 2:30pm -11pm

We are seeking a proactive and organised Care Coordinator to join our fast-paced office team. This permanent position offers an excellent opportunity to grow your career in health and social care while working in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Location: Swindon
Salary: £25,584* with an OTE of £29,270 (inclusive of on-call duties)
Hours: 40 hours per week shared out-of-hours on-call service
(Office hours: Monday-Friday, 08:30 - 17:00. Some flexibility may be required to meet business needs.)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently schedule and allocate care workers to client visits, ensuring continuity of care and appropriate skill matching.
  • Maintain effective communication with care workers, providing support, guidance, and timely resolution of queries.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Accurately complete and maintain all necessary documentation and systems.

  • Audit documentation and ensure compliance with CQC regulations
  • Identify and address gaps in care delivery
  • Escalate concerns to appropriate personnel and follow up on actions
  • Support and guide staff through constructive conversations
  • Promote best practices and quality assurance across the care team
  • Conduct community-based shadowing to observe care delivery and align policy with practice
  • Assist in developing action plans based on audit findings

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year hands-on care experience (ideally community-based)
  • Familiarity with CQC standards, Fundamental Standards, and person-centred care plans
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to confidently and professionally challenge poor practice
  • Comfortable using computer systems and technology
  • Friendly, proactive, and reliable with strong attention to detail
